[German Chocolate]
Directions: Preheated oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 8-inch square baking pans. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, butter, sour cream, eggs, chocolate, milk, and vanilla. Beat with mixer at low speed until blended. Increase mixer to high and beat 2 minutes longer. Spoon batter into prepared pans. Bake about 35 minutes. |
[Red Velvet]
Directions:Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Flour 3 cake pans. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.Then mix in the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vinegar, and vanilla. Divide the cake batter evenly among the prepared cake pans. Place the pans in the oven evenly spaced apart. Bake about 30 minutes. |
